For the international traveler, India travel time is limited, so the Lodi Garden’s is not a priority. As gardens in the world go, it’s OK. Yes it is peaceful particularly when compared to pandemonium of the surrounding city. It might interest the historically minded, since it has buildings from the pre-Mughal empire that were covered over by villages then eventual... More

This garden was built by the rulers of Lodhi dynasty. Tombs of several rulers of this dynasty is housed in the garden. There are several varieties of trees in the garden prominent among them being Deodar, Eucalyptus and Neem. There are several small lakes in the garden. You get to spot birds like King Fisher, Mynnah, Kites, Owls etc here.... More

You find many prominent people from all walks of life coming here for their daily jogging and walking. The tourists too are equally fascinated. The vast green gardens are beautiful and treat to the eyes.

A lot of space is available in the garden. Cleaning is also good. Lots of couples in the park. Might be not a good place for family trip. You can't play football, cricket in this garden. Good place for walk, yoga & exercise.

It's quite a lovely place to visit early morning. Calm, washed, beautiful. We went for an early morning walk. I was quite surprised to see how well-maintained it is. You can walk around, take pictures, and just stroll - watch the squirrels scurry around and the swans waddle in the pond. It's a good place to tune out the noise... More

Visiting Lodi gardens is a great way of taking a break from the hustle and bustle of Delhi. Wonderful monuments in a beautiful setting and with lots of hidden corners to explore. Popular with the Indian middle class and has a laid back atmosphere. Fun to watch people doing yoga if you visit in the morning

If you want to relax, walk on the grass, watch beautiful flowers and listen to the birds after a busy day on the crowded streets of New Delhi, this is the place to go. This place is quite, not many people. There are a couple of tombs that you can visit within the park as well
