If you're in chandni chowk and step into the gurudwara you're immediately at peace. I'm a sikh so it holds significance for me anyway but being here for evening prayers was a special experience that bought a tear to my eye and made me understand unity with humanity. Always a special and invigorating experience for me here

A Nice Gurudwara It is located in Chandni Chowk area of Delhi and was built to commemorate the beheading the tenth Sikh Guru Tegh Bahadur Singh ji by Mughal emperor Aurengzeb. It was constructed by Baghel Singh. It is nice to visit this religious place. Dr. Rajesh Bhola Spiritual Writer & Columnist

On a tour of Delhi's major religious sites (Jama Masjid, a Jain temple, the Akshardham Hindu temple, the Baha'i Lotus Temple) in 2012, this pretty boring Protestant from the U.S. remembers that I felt the greatest connection to the divine here, which was an oasis of calm in the middle of the craziness that is Old Delhi. When my spouse... More

This is one of the best place to get some peace and divine blessings in crowded Chandni Chowk, Delhi. If you want to get some holy feelings and blessings then this a must visit for you. Don't forget to take Prasad (Kada Halwa).

This Gurudwara (religious place of Sikh people) built for a martyred guru (leader / teacher) is truly very good and worth seeing. It is calm, quiet and serene and is a really wonderful place for meditation...all this in the middle of the city ! One can also try the mouth-watering lungar (free lunch) served every day at the Gurudwara. It... More
