This temple is on Mysore-Nanjangud-Gundlupet road. You can find mist on all 365 days of the year and hence the name. The approach ghat section is too steep and take care while driving.

A very good experience just for the bike ride. Had travelled there with 8 friends on bikes from Mysore. We went ahead till Bandipur on that day. It was pretty sunny on the day time and our licks came out really well.

This is a great place, mostly the hillock is covered with dense fog, religious place lots of people visit this famous temple atop the hillock. One should be vary of restrictions to this area as this place is situated inside reserve forest

An excellent Temple atop the hill. Beautiful IDOL of Lord Gopalswamy. Religious, serene & scenic, weather par excellence are the key to natures wonder. Off the Mysore-Ooty road and on top of a hill called the Himavad Goplaswamy Betta (Hill), this ancient temple has Lord Krishna as its idol and the roof on top of the diety is open. temple is good.prasadam which they served (rice,sambar n sweet)also was very tasty. only concern is private vehicles are not allowed till temple. road is still under construction, so v have to take government bus from half way. the service and buses are pathetic.buses will be over crowded and not clean. but to seek gods blessings v had to take bus.all... This place is located near Gundlupet, around 75km from the city of Mysuru. The place is accessible via road, but the last mile travel is allowed only via government bus. First of all dear tourists, please don't be under the impression that this Temple is in Mysore or near to Mysore. Going there includes drive in forest plus Riding on Hill plus a temple visit nice place very peaceful. There is a timing for road to temple inquire about timings before going.
