While not the most modern zoo it is committed to caring for endangered species. They no longer capture animals but rather rehabilitate injured or orphaned animals

Big zoo with many animals and birds. Electric car option to travel available in zoo; elders and people with short time at hand should opt for it. Well maintained and clean zoo. Amongst the best in India.

One can easily the zoo in Mysore either by government or private transport. The crowd was significant on Sunday, I would suggest avoiding Sunday if you can. Do not carry plastic items into zoo, you will be frisked for it. You need to get a...More

This must be one of the best maintained and professionally managed Zoo in India. Lots of animals to see, very clean and very informative place to be. Its a must visit if you are in Mysuru.

It's a must visit place if you are visiting mysore. It's well maintained and gives you information about a lot of animal species. They have a wonderful food court inside which serves tasty delicacies.

No they do not provide.but an excellent item that the zoo authorities could add for child care.

It is allowed. Even I had been there with my 10 month old baby. Also there is option for electric cars inside you can use them for more convienence at the zoo is too big approx 2.25kms
