This place has a feeling of serenity and spirituality written all over it. Run by the Hare Krishna foundation, Darshan in the temple is a must. There is also a restaurant run by the temple management and banquet halls that can be hired for functions.

I am not sure about the timings, but about the shoes, there is a secure place to leave them on the temple grounds, just after you enter.
