Alibag is located close to Mumbai. You should prefer the jetty which takes 30 mins from Gateway of India. by road it takes 3-4 hrs. Its a good place for 1-2 days however if possible go on a weekday if you can take a holiday....More

This is one of the best place to visit during weekends for small picnic/outing. Although the place is crowded by tourists, there are many spots to see. Ease of access and affordable rates make it attractive.
