Outdoor laundry. This is a NOT TO NE MISSED adventure. Over 300 workers daily use their feet, clubs, hands and water and detergent to do a big part of Mumbai’s laundry, including many hotels’ laundry.

Just wish we would have had more time to observe. It's my understanding women are not allowed down in the laundry area, but watching and learning about the operations is fascinating.

What an interesting visit watch the Dhobi wallahs, with their individual wash basins, washing, bashing and hanging up their loads. A real look at a completely different way of life.

As seen in movies especially Bollywood movies. It is nice to go there and see the shooting locations.

Wished I booked the walking tour of this Mumbai built over 100 years ago. Instead stood on the bridge that overlooks it and watched the jaw dropping spectacle of this incredible outdoor laundry.
