Great fabrics not so great tailoring

Really helpful staff. Attempt to go out of their way to help. Have some stunning products, good quality. Tailoring ok if you ask for something within their repertoire. Although I... read more

I have been to Rajasthan for holidays n our taxi driver insisted to visit this place on the very first day of our trip.Neither the taxi driver nor the visit to this Krishna textile was good.We were almost cheated to buy products from here, which were extremely overpriced. The quality of each n every product was horrible, none of the products lasted... This was not part of my tour...The place I was taken to was overpriced and hard sell, but this place was anything but. The guy that showed me round seemed very humble and didn't pressure me at all. He showed me only what I wanted to see and gave me prices that I was very happy with. Got some lovely... More

we were hassled into this place by our tour guide and taxi driver to "check out" the block printing procedure... We were given a 2 minute presentation and then we were hassled into the store to buy something. Everything was waaaaaaaay over priced and negotiations were really difficult. Seems like they don't want to sell you anything, unless they have... More

As a seasoned traveler and do get fed up with the 'hard' sell technique. Before I walked into this shop I made it very clear that I was only looking and a strong possibility that I may not buy anything ! Sheru, one of the managers assured me that he would let me be. I was offered chai (of course)... More

Really helpful staff. Attempt to go out of their way to help. Have some stunning products, good quality. Tailoring ok if you ask for something within their repertoire. Although I ordered two wrap skirts (I chose silk as the fabric). When they were delivered to my hotel it was 12 hours after their promised delivery time and the skirts were... More

This was, regrettably, the first store that we visited in Jaipur. On the first day of our trip, our taxi driver insisted that we visit this store. He claimed that this is one of the authentic stores in the city for traditional products. After spending a few days in Jaipur and visiting several other stores, it became clear to us... More

We were brought here by our driver and it was one of the only shops we were actually interested in buying anything from (usually we just went in to be polite, but didn't buy anything). Watching the hand block printing of the fabric was really neat, as was hearing about the natural ingredients used to make the dyes (i.e., indigo,... More

I went here and bought a suit. I am very happy with the suit. They were so great at not pressuring us for the sale, and still being able to sell their product. My only criticism is that it's obvious they bumped up the price for "Tourist Prices." We didn't get any sort of discount and it was difficult to... More

Though bus tours do stop here, I went with a friend and had a shopping "experience". Note that I'm not someone who normally enjoys shopping, but I am open to new experiences. We arrived in Jaipur in the afternoon and asked our driver for a textile store as Jaipur is known around the world for its wonderful textiles as well... More
