Galtaji is an ancient Hindu pilgrimage site in the town of Khania-Balaji, about 10km away from Jaipur.The site consists of several temples and sacred kunds. Its also known as Monkey temple.

1st thing 1st. Beware of monkeys but come here to see monkeys, confused? Well don't be. Our guide told us there is a Hindu temple which is popular for monkeys. So we drove here. Really diffrente, and picturesque, far from the main city, but really interesting. People praying, monkeys, cows, dirty pools, great place. My guide Rashid Khan was really awfull and didn´t want to take us there. Avoid him!!

This is Shiva temple... Its very serene and pious. For Shiva devotee its must place. The people those who belongs other trust also can visit. The atmosphere and vibrations of this place are very healthy, experience is very good. All stresses will be gone with the wind..

A fantastic place located in Galta Ghati. Beautiful artwork. However people have made the Kund (lake) very dirty by throwing rubbish. It is famous for monkeys as well

It is ancient hindu pilgrimage destination situated couple of kms away from the city. It consists a couple of deity temples and water tanks (kund) for pilgrim bathe.Large tribe of monkeys found here.

Another temple which is known to all local people & famous. Many devotees gather in the temple & offer their prayers along with the bath in the 'kund' which is known to be sacred. Monkey Temple & Galta ji Temple is same. Here you will get very old temple & hundreds of monkey. Take some eatables for monkeys
