If you're in Jaipur, you should definitely do this. I had no idea how many spices go into everything, and it all smells so fresh. Very clean there and they use bottled water so don't worry about getting ill. We had a lovely time during class and even more so after as chef Lokesh and his wife are great! We... More

My wife and I had a wonderful evening learning how to cook with chef Lokesh and visiting with his wife. He did an excellent job teaching us about the flavors that make each dish so special, and included us often to help prepare the dishes. One of the highlights was tasting as we went along. We look forward to trying... More

We were in a group of 8 (6 of us and another couple) Lokesh and his wife welcomed us into their home for the afternoon/evening to learn to cook one of the menus we had preselected. We cooked 6 dishes together, including naan, biriyani and homemade paneer! Everyone in the group attempted different parts and everything was explained really well.... More

My husband and I attended a class at Jaipur Cooking Class with 6 other classmates. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and the food was delicious. Lokesh and Geetika made booking easy, and were a delight to meet during the class; being both highly knowledgeable and very hospitable. Would highly recommend, is a definite highlight of our trip to India.

Our group of 8 adults had a great time! We made vegetarian menu, and loved learning to make samosas and paneer from scratch. It was a good balance of skipping the "obvious" (onions were sliced and tomatoes puréed before we arrived) and focusing on the interesting (like what goes into the various sauces and how to roll out the pastries).... I knew I wanted to do a cooking class whilst in India and had the time to do it in Jaipur. I choose the vegetarian option and from the moment I arrived at Lokesh's home I was impressed. The kitchen space is nice and bright and Lokesh is very friendly and easy going (I was a little late but he... More

My son and myself had a great evening learning how to make the basic ingredients of Indian food then going onto making samosas, malai kofta, veg biryani, naan and gulag jamun. Lokesh is very good and explaining the steps and getting each student to participate. With the tasting of each dish and the meal at the end, not only were... More

We were privileged enough to stumble on this class on the advice of a friend and we certainly weren't disappointed. Chef Lokesh is skilled, organized and presented his class professionally and almost like an old friend. It was not only interesting to learn the intricacies of Indian cuisine, but it was so lovely to enjoy our meal in the his... More

An amazing thing to do in Jaipur. My partner and I learnt a lot about Indian food - even how to make paneer (Indian cheese) and garlic naan. Lokesh was a patient, passionate chef and teacher and his wife was gorgeous, so were their dogs, especially the Great Dane. If you don't like dogs - they keep respectfully away from... More
