Suitable for Young Trekking lovers

The place is very good. We should walk to the waterfalls through very rough path around 45 minutes. Not advisable for old age people.

Food won't be available so carry enough food...there is a video in youtube which I watched, with title "Tada falls Trekking : Full video(aka. Ubbalamadugu Falls) " . You will get an idea about the trek. try to wear proper trekking... More

Long drive from chennai via gummudipoondi and tada...morning 10am was good enough to start with less crowd. most of the people with us were first timers. parking to river would be 1km walk crossing a small bridge and canal. there is a temple near the river and water was CRYSTAL. along side of river is a narrow lane to walk... Ubbalamadugu Falls (also know as Tada Falls), located in chittor district. Best place for the trekking fellows. We can park a vehicle in tada falls parking lot and need to trek nearly 5kms in the forest. Dense forest, best place to go in rainy seasons But only ADULTS can make this trekking. The path is too dangerous, we need to... More

Best place for trekking with friends. It's roughly 120km from Chennai. Coming to food, nothing is available at the place it's better to take your own food and lots of water but there's a lot of problem with monkeys. They won't allow visitors to eat. A total of 6-8km ( up and down ) trekking needs to be done. Takes around... More

Reach: There aren't much of public transport available to reach this place. From the nearby bus station, share autos are available to take you to the Tada forest entrance (rarity). I would strongly recommend own vehicle. Bike or car would be the more convenient option to reach Tada, that too luxury cars cannot get through the uneven terrain. The falls is... More

This place is often most visited by youths from nearby towns and villages. A bit of hiking is needed to reach the waterfalls from the parking area. The water from the falls is so pure that you could drink it directly. However most part of the trail looks shabby with garbage lying around. The authorities should do better by clearing... More

Recommended to go on own transport. There are autos available from the highway, but I'm not sure about their safety. Once you reach the parking place, there's only one petty shop which has some biscuits and cool drinks/water, so carry your own food. We will have to walk around 1.5 kms to go to a lake like area where the... More
