A really well put together resource with good information and interesting exhibits. Quite emotional seeing Tenzing Norgays final resting place. When combined with ticket for the Zoo adjacent it's a cracking way to spend a morning or afternoon.

The place is really very nice. The zoo has quiet a variety of animals. The museum is beautifully decorated. Interesting to see the tracking items. The history of the tracking is elaborated in a beautiful manner with their dress & all equipments.

I had a very different and unique experience visiting this museum. It was all about mountaineering and about various expeditions that have taken place in Himalayas. A must visit.

Very thoughtfully organized museum, giving a glimpse of what mountaineering means in Himalayas... particularly for people like us who've never gone mountaineering. So much to learn, can spend hours there.
