Smaranika,Tram museum of kolkata. It's situted in Esplaned tram depot( from 3pm-8pm daily-except Thursday). The ticket price is 10 Rs. A very good place to spend some time with family and friends.

This was a very good experience. Extremely beautiful. Good to see that they have made a museum for trams. Travelling is different and looking at its history is a wonderful thing.

This tram museum has been built and maintained by the CTC aka Calcutta Tram Corporation. It gives us opportujity to know how and when tram was introduced in the city hundreds of years ago by the British andbhow it evolved slowly.

In some places you will find this vehicle, which are still in kolkata and also with any pollution. If you visit the museum you will find that tram was also pulled by the horse but with times it is now running with the electricity nowadays.

Photography is allowed in Victoria memorial garden.. But in Victoria memorial museum it's not allowed.
