With the river in front of you and a forest of cedar trees behind you, it is a very relaxing and beautiful setting in the middle of the city. We had some time to kill while sight seeing, pulled out our camp chairs, and sat...More

This is a nice place to spend the day and let the kids play. A nice playgound and splash-pad. A place for walking too. Best yet it's free! For a family with children cost of entertainment can be crippling but places like this takes the...More

We went to get information on the area and things to do. The lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful in pointing out places to see and eat. The facility was clean and had some interesting displays.

I visit McFarland quite frequently. We've camped in the RV park many times. We've run 5Ks with friends. We've enjoyed the restaurant in the marina. We've strolled along the river and fished from the dock. There are plenty of picnic tables and pavilions. Tent camping...More

This is a very good park for this area. The marina is very good and has transient docks as well as long term. The Rv park is right on the river in a very quite and peaceful back section of the park.

No. You wouldn't be able to swim in this area as it is directly on the Tennessee River, not the lake portion. I did see people skiing, though. I don't know much about Wilson Lake, but ask about this section. If you are... More

Yes, I'm sure they do. I have seen them there before. The Florence Tourism Office is located there on the way to the campsites. The phone number is 256-740-4141. If you call, they can give you the information you need.
