We happened by this area on the way back from the beach in Florida. Saw the sign on the highway, and decided to stop. This is one of several venues on the Hank Williams Trail. There are many fascinating displays of Hank Williams memorabilia in...More

This was a stop we made on our way back from the beach. If you are a country music fan and or Hank Williams fan it is worth a stop. Margaret Gaston was working there and was very informative about Hank and items on display...More

We stopped on the way to the beach. It’s one of those places that an Alabamian must go at least once. The staff was friendly but offered no information about the history of the house or the life of Hank Williams, but in the spirit...More

We like country music but don't really know music of this era. Margaret, the guide gave us a lot of history and really explained the Hank Williams story. This was a great stop and well worth the drive from Andalusia.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our opportunity to visit the home of Hank Arron. What a true honor for this amazing man who broke The Babe’s records for home runs and base runs. And, I will argue that he beat The Babe at base runs w/...More

It's incredible what Hank did in his short 29-year lifetime. He was one of the greatest songwriters ever. He had a charisma and magnetism that could not be explained. When he sang at the Grand Ole Opry, he had to be the closer because anyone...More

In this museum, for a mere $5 admission price per person, the tour guide Margaret invites you to go through the whole homeplace and take as many photos as you like. Far cry from the museum in town where no photos are allowed once you...More

This is a great stop for a Hank Williams fan. The museum is the home in which Hank Williams lived from ages 7-11. He got his first guitar during that time and learned to play in this house. The museum consists mostly of newspaper clippings...More

First, the woman who runs the museum is exceptionally informative and knowledgeable on all things Williams. Very nice being able to see how Hank grew up and all the memorabilia in the home. Great souvenirs here too.

The lady that runs it is very nice and extremely knowledgeable. She talked to my husband for almost an hour about country music. If you are a big fan of old traditional country you'll love it. 5$ admission isn't bad either

Yes, 5 or 6 dollars. I need to be clear. This is a small home where he grew up. It is sweet and a must see for a staunch fan, but it has few personal items and very little to see.
