Our group goes to Gulf Shores each year for a golf trip. We play Kiva Dunes twice each year so I have played it about twenty-five times. It's a very good golf course. It's links-like and plays fast and hard. Some of the green complexes are a bit daffy (Holes 4, 10, 15 come to mind), but the greens run... More

Well kept course. Excellent greens. Actually saw an alligator on in the sand trap. He minded his own business! WONDERFUL restaurant. Nice pro shop also.

Every year, my extended family travels to Fort Morgan and rents a beach house. The women chill on the beach, and the men explore local golf courses. Throughout the years, this has become the epitome of a love/hate relationship for me. I give this course five stars because of the layout, the setting, and overall enjoyability of playing it. That... Played here due to the proximity of my resort. I was not disappointed. The staff was super helpful, the course was in good shape for March and the layout is fair but challenging.

Super nice course but if you have a choice, only play it on a nice day. Given it's location, it can be very windy. It's a hard course to start with so when you add a lot of wind it realy makes it tough, plus cold. If you're an average golfer, don't expect a great score but don't let that... More

The course is located along the Fort Morgan AL beach. To say it is well maintained would be a understatement! To play a round of golf on a course like Kiva makes for a great day even if your card does not reflect it!

Played Kiva Dunes for the first time as it was recommended by a pair of golfers we were paired with at another golf course. The said the course was the best in the area, but not for someone that shoots 110 for 18 holes. They were correct on that. What I do not understand is how this course only has... More

Difficult, but beautiful golf course. Lots of deep bunkers and fair amount of water. Great staff, very friendly and helpful

A beautiful course with outstanding service. This course can be played by all levels of players if the appropriate tee boxes are played. A lot of sand and water but friendly fairways. If you are in the area this course is a must to play.

Kiva Dunes should be in the same class as its more famous Dunes cousin, Bandon Dunes. While not hard by the ocean, and lacking the famous ocean views, Kiva Dunes is superb golf. Jerry Pate fashioned a wide variety of holes that keeps the interest and challenge factor high. Immaculately maintained, the course is a bargain at around $80. The... More
