Great place to see sharks or go at night to see full moon. Free admission if you are staying at Gulf State Park. Pelicans are always good for a picture.

Pier was nice but the bait shop only had frozen shrimp which made for sub par fishing. Also a little pricey at $9 a person

There is a restroom on the pier. I believe I saw some sandwiches for sale where you pay. There are lots of benches on the pier, but with a gazillion seagulls, most of them are filthy.
