Best time to take this ride is during night time. Super nice with all those light decoration and well-reserved villages. River doesn't smell bad, just a little bit which is kinda acceptable.

Well worth taking one of the boats that go up and down the river. Got to see different parts of the city that we would not have walked around

Part of a good walking tour Will Take you to the river. In the center of town it is really attractive with great buildings to see and monitor blizzards in the river.

It is nice to take a boat cruise during the evening when the weather is cooler to see Melacca River. Highly recommended and the cruise rate is very reasonable too.

Look for the Museum Samudera ... there's a lane on the right just before it ... take the lane and you can park there. You'll see the River Cruise Ticket booth and jetty from where you park
