We walked down the street and went in and out of some of the shops. It was a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We would like to go back when we have more time.

Walked around downtown Mobile’s Dauphin Street checking out the shops, which were great Mobile-feeling. One of our favorite places to go when visiting Mobile. Drive around nearby streets because some parking Is metered and other street spots are not - even on the same block.

Real potential on this street. Buildings generally a treat to look at, but sometimes you have to look beyond the current use or top layer. Visited late morning day after Fat Tuesday; clean up activities ruled.

I’m usually only here for the parades but all of the restaurants and bars are decent. No complaints!

Super cool, super catholic, awesome bars everywhere, and if you want a burger with two moon pies as buns that can happen

Dauphin has the quaint feeling of the French Quarter of New Orleans, only cleaner. We visited at the beginning of Mardi Gras season, so very festive. The restaurants and bars were clean, friendly and felt safe for tourists. Would go back.

This is a nice area on Dauphin Street. You can walk down the street and see many restaurants, bars, and music entertainment areas. There is something for everyone here and you can easily spend lots of time enjoying the area and eating some great food.

We enjoyed strolling the street and getting a bite to eat and some wine at various cafes and bistros. Pleasantly surprised that many of the restaurants had music entertainment. Cannot wait to go again.

Dauphin is the main drag in Mobile. Lots of restaurants and bars line the streets. Bienville Square and Cathedral Square are two of the highlighted sights.

Google Mobile Mardi Gras schedule and you should get a lot of useful information about times, routes and good locations to watch the parades. Enjoy
