Went here on 12/27/16 and thought it might be packed with kids due to the holiday vacations, but it was not. It is mainly for children, but we did like the photos by Janet Macoska of rock stars. Noticed that there are areas where they can have demonstrations, but none were taking place when we were there and no signs... More

Worth a visit. Teen boys kind of resisted at first but ended up staying more than I hour. Walking distance to seasonal ice skating and historic downtown area

I went to see a exhibit on Guitars with a couple of young Guitar students and their parents. We spent over an hour in the Guitar exhibit and then went to the other exhibits that are there all the time. We spent over four hours there with out realizing it. There is so much to see and do you can... More

We were actually coming into town to go to the USS Alabama when I caught a glimpse of the billboard for the Exploreum on I-10. Easy to get to, easy, free parking, friendly and helpful staff, clean, and fun. No complaints. We didn't see the IMAX show so can't report on that. They did say that there are no commercial... More

Very nice exhibits when we were there. They had a human body exhibit and an exhibit of guitars and we enjoyed them both. They have crafts for the kids and an adorable play area that the little ones will love. Worth the visit

There were a few fun things to, the body exhibit was cool, but it just wasn't what I was expecting. Not many exhibits, and the funnest playplace was limited to ages 5 and under.

There are some very interesting and thought provoking exhibits. My grandson loved the interactive exhibits. I just admit, I loved them, too. The IMax has great movies. Very realistic. We saw once on flight. Couldn't watch - I was getting motion sickness. Totally recommend.

I'm proud to know this is in our local area. It's not just for kids either. Adults will be just as excited to walk and learn in this spectacular building. Always a cool change to escape the hot summer days. Clean, well maintained and friendly staff always!
