This was an absolute disappointment. It isn't an original, which we were aware of, but the replica could've been done better. It was a very small portion they recreated, lacking much of the historical parts we were anticipating. When we walked in, they asked us...More

The fort is pristine - because it's not that old. It was recently rebuilt as a model of the original fort that was destroyed. I would only recommend visiting the fort if it is your only option to see one. Fort Gaines on Dauphin Island...More

This place used to be free. Get ready to enter an airport terminal kiosk center with cheap overpriced made in China souveniers and $22.00 kids T shirts while some big goofy parrot looks at you sideways. Be nice, he came from South Ameica somewhere I...More

A nice open area for the kiddos to run. A dress up family photo area, along with a shooting arcade with a pirate theme. A little history too.

Great small museum. The escape room is great. The exhibits are cool and the place is tailored for a child visit. Good afternoon visit.

The fort is a renovated version of the old historic fort built in the early 18th century by French and was protecting Mobile from attacks by Spaniards and Brits.

Stopped by on the way back home from Louisiana and we learned about the city of Mobile during the French, Spanish, and American colonial periods. The fort is pretty small but it is still a fun stop.
