We saw "Because of Winn Dixie" at the Alabama Shakespeare theater. We purchased our tickets on line and picked them up at will call. From first to last everyone we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The play was outstanding! Professional Broadway actors, great singing and a powerful and moving story. This is our first time here, but we are... More

This is a great don't miss attraction in Alabama, there is always something new to see and it is very user friendly. We have take my niece and nephews when they were sub-teens until they were adults. They enjoyed everything from Hamlet to A Christmas Carol. We have also attended with our adult girl friends from work. We use to... More

Watching a Christmas Carol with family was a real delight. The theater was nice, clean & warm. And the bathrooms were clean. The concessions had reasonably priced snacks. I didn't partake at the bar but it was popular.

My husband and I have been going to the Shakespeare festival plays in Montgomery, Al for our entire married life, 25 years. We always enjoy the plays. A Christmas Carol is one of our favorite. Check out their website, they have some awesome plays coming up for 2017!

This is one of the beautiful place to visit in Montgomery. The surroundings of the theater is awesome, it has small lake full of ducks and beautiful park. The show itself was enjoyable, my daughter really love it.

Saw the matinee performance of The Mousetrap on October 1. Loved the set! Great performances by the entire cast. Our seats were on row H numbers 111 and 112. Those are great seats, and because of the divider there, you don't have to worry about seeing over the head of the person in front of you.

Winton Blount donated the ASF to Montgomery in the mid 1980s and ever since its been one of the best regional theaters in America. They will have Shakespeare and other world class playwrights, as well as world premieres. I just saw Charlottes Web-very good.

This was our first time attending a play and what better to see than Beauty and the Beast! Our seats were easily accessible and during the performance, the actors walked right by me, which instigated a seat change request from my youngest granddaughter! The only issue we encountered was the restroom. Down on the bottom level and only on one... More
