This museum is located far from the center but worth visiting if you have extra time in Montgomery. Interesting permanent collection and special exhibits.

This is a nice way to spend a Saturday or Sunday. Frequently rotating and interesting exhibits, great little cafe for brunches, and lots of wonderful art classes offered as well! Love this place. Oh, and there's a FABULOUS kids' area!

Our family loves this museum! Just recently, MMFA hosted a traveling exhibition of three dimensional art using found objects. It was fascinating! Good permanent collection as well. Of course, our children love the children's interactive wing most of all.
