I always love visiting this Grand old Theatre. Love all the decor and fittings and of course the acoustics are amazing. Always a treat.

Shanghai Concert Hall is located on the intersection of Yan'an Road and South Tibet Road of Huangpu District, Shanghai. It was founded in 1930, originally named Nanking Theatre. In 1949, its name was changed to Beijing Cinema. In 1959, it was renamed Shanghai Concert Hall.

The Shanghai Concert Hall is a great venue. I saw the Shanghai International Youth Orchestra perform here in December. The acoustics are very good for unamplified performances. Ticket prices are reasonable and it's easy to get here either walking, or by subway or taxi. Come...More
