Qibao ancient town has over a thousand years history. Its a nice place to take a stroll or drink tea at one of the many tea houses along the river.

It is easily accessible along subway route no. 9. The bridges and river are beautiful. However, there were many people on May 1st. The shops along the old street made me felt like I was back to Taipei.

Easy to reach by subway (Qibao station), but still a good 45-60 minutes away from Bund river/century avenue), interesting but very small and covered by touristy boutiques, which takes away some of the charm.
