I saw this somewhere and we took a train down here and walked all over trying to figure out ho to get up on this to walk but they apparently stopped that a long time ago. Very disappointing since it looked like it would have...More

Lighted up at night so it's quite pretty. It separates pudong and puxi so it's nice vantage to see the lights - there is especially a rainbow lit building which they told me is actually a nondescript building.

Lupu bridge is a high road bridge over the Hangpu river. I was given to understand that earlier people were allowed to walk over or climb the structure but no longer. To me it was just a bridge to cross the river. Not a bad...More

Just to update since there have not been any postings: it's closed, no walking across now. Unfortunate. Go for the pearl tower, peace hotel, flair on top of Ritz Carlton or the SWFC instead.

If you like architecture it's a great bridge to visit. I drove across it and enjoyed the experience. Can't confirm if the visitor centre is open or not, but from reports it shut.

Unfortunately, the Lupu bridge is now closed. Went there two weeks ago and it didn't look like it was going to open anytime soon. It was up and running last spring (May 2012).

I've been there today and almost everything left of the Expo 2010 seems to be closed or torn down. The Lupu Bridge was closed to and didn't look like they would reopen the viewing platform soon. Not worth the trip

take an elevator first, then climb all the way to the top and enjoy a great view. Right now, a good place to view what is left of the Expo
