We absolutely loved this dinner cruise. The staff were amazing and efficient from the minute we arrived at the pier.
We were seated outdoors which gave us lovely views and cooling breezes on a warm evening.
We had the semi buffet and the buffet food was good and there was plenty for everyone. We ordered the lobster as our main and while my husband said his was lovely mine was very over-cooked and dry which was disappointing, but it didn’t spoil our evening as the rest of the food was very nice.
The staff were very friendly and attentive and everything was well organised.
The band was great but of course the star was the views and the light show which were both for spectacular.
This activity is not cheap but is certainly well worth the money.

As it approached later afternoon around 4ish, we decided to take the river cruise right along Zhongshan road. We deliberately waited for evening so we could take the boat to see the suset. A bit of a wait, but it was worth it. The boat is lined with glass to have a view from the inside with seats lined along the glass. However, I do suggest not to sit inside the boat, but stand outside at the deck and enjoy the view. Its beautiful especially when the sun sets down the river as the city lights up. Truly a wonderful sight to capture the view of this beautiful skyline.

This was the highlight of our trip to Shanghai. For a few dollars more, you can upgrade to the top deck, private area, at the bow of the ship. The view and the experience were priceless.

My friend and I got the cruise ticket from Nanjing Road ticket counter. A beautiful bus then transferred us to the Bund from where the cruise starts. It is advisable to go on a night cruise than a day cruise. At night, the city of Shanghai turns so bright as all lights are turned on. The whole city puts on a great show, on both the Bund side and on Pudong side. Several boats on the river are well covered with attractive lights. I should say that night cruise is the best one can get. Overall, a great experience and a perfect attraction.

It says 40min but we got a 1.5 hours ride. Not that we are complaining but we went without dinner and were all hungry. Just remember to pack a picnic basket if you are not planning to take dinner on board!

The cruise provided a 360 degree view of Shanghai. Can observed all the buildings included Pearl Tower, modern building and also old European building.
Strong wind at Hongpu river and feel very cold. We really enjoy it!
Thumb up! Happy to share some of the photos taken by me

We took a taxi to the cruise ship one afternoon. It was close to downtown and the guards were helpful in finding your ship. (Actually only 2--the Seabourn and the Silverseas

Must try the cruise at The Bund. Especially at night you can see the Amazing view from both side of Putong River.
