The architecture along the River is breathtaking. There is a nice area to walk on both sides of the river. The night time lights are spectacular!

We always go to the Bund. Stop into a Hotel or Two. Have a drink. Drink in the Pudong across the river. Watch the interesting river traffic. Watch the fascinating Chinese tourists. Evening is great as the lights of the Pudong come on.

Bookended by Pudong and the Bund proper, the Huangpu divides the old and new parts of Shanghais' CBD. Take the ferry to get the full experience.
