Very nice half day to see the painter village, 1 hour far from Shanghai(entrance fee). Farmers families selling their paintings (good price for hand paintings). Most of the time representing the country side way of life.

We never made it to the painter's village (which is what the photo shows) because the listed address is to the Jinshan Academy which is NOT what matches the photo. The Academy is an old building with a couple of floors of the peasant paintings....More

Spent 2 hours on our way to fengjing water village. We saw a lot of artists each with a different twist. The village is peaceful. And the kids loved running around. We bought several pieces that we will both use in our house when back...More
