This new modern railway station is very large, clean, and safe. All the signs are additionally written in English. It was very orderly and the lines were very smooth. It has a good collection of places to eat and Starbucks. I found it very easy...More

I had no difficulty whatsoever navigating my way to the proper ticket kiosk and my train. My only recommendation is to prebook your travel with TravelChinaGuide.com. I received excellent service from them that enhanced my travel experience greatly.

Cant even find a place to seat. Most of the time we just seat on the floor while waiting for our train

Very big station, very clean. A lot of shops around the concourse, from eating to shopping. Very well organised boarding, I was part of a party of around 100 people and we all were directed to our high speed train carriage.

Easy to navigate through the train station. Have to be at the train station early if you need to retrieve the train ticket. The station has plenty of shops and restaurant if you need to grab some food before boarding.

We found it easy enough to navigate except that on arrival we didnt know whether to go upstairs or downstairs to exit. Also there is an elevator which is excellent when yoy have cases. Taxi management was goid and safe

This is the railway station where the high speed train arrives/departs to Beijing. The cheapest and easiest way to access is via the metro which arrives on a different floor. There are a number of floors where you can access or pick up tickets for...More

An expansive but well organised terminus with many food outlets and ticket offices. Paramount to establish the location of the appropriate ticket office for your destination.

Hi, I would like to meet a friend arriving to this station by train. I understand people exit to B1 level, what would be a good landmark to meet next to ? ( I am not sure how many possible exits from train area to public area there are)

Since you will not know which track the train will arrive on, the best landmark will be at the Shanghai Metro Ticket Machines. This is across the aisle from the exit gates. Your friend will need his/her ticket to clear the... More

It's very easy. Take your print-out or your app on your phone to the ticket office. We did ours here in Australia 3 weeks before, and had no trouble getting the tickets for all 3 trips, and only one left from Hongqiao.
