While the tour did offer us a good snapshot of Shanghai with a competent guide, the few hours we had were deliberately organized to have us spent money for pearls, tea and silk. There is no real way around being forced into these " presentations" which end in one store or another. The woman in the tea custom store was... More

To see the warriors lined up in the pits was amazing. I booked with Han Tang Tours to see the warriors. We went to 3 different pits and the banpo museum before. It was pretty crowded the day I went. One tip: I would spend a little extra money on a private tour as the general tours end up stopping... More

We went on a one day tour to the Net Master Garden and Zhouzhuang on June 29th. This tour was arranged by Chinaxiantour.com which used their local partner Han Tang Tour in Shanghai. This was a tour with a shopping stop at one of the silk factories in Suzhou city. We started our tour with a small group of tourists... More

We had an enjoyable tour with our polite and knowledgable guide Frank.our driver was fine too . We visited a number of sites although the weather was not good ,a bit rainy ,and the museum was worth at least an hour and provided some good examples of chinese history that were better than we saw elsewhere in China

We attended the Beijing Essential Full Day Tour in February. Our tour guide was Victoria and she was excellent. Both her and the driver took us to all our destinations and more. The food was lovely and she was also a excellent photographer as well as history teller so we really could understand every site we visited. Highly recommend even... More

I can recommend this full day tour of Beijing. The guide Michael Ken spoke excellent English and was very informative. The driver Mr Shen was also very polite, with great knowledge of routes in and around Beijing. Plenty of time was given to explore and take pictures. Not only did I see Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Great Wall but also... More

We had a tour guide by the name of Rita, from Shanghai Hantang Tour. This was organised for us in Sydney by Eric of Absolute China Tours. We both were very happy with Rita's tour, she explained everything in clear English, & she was very knowledgeable. It was only a small Group Tour, & altho we had to come to... More

We booked two days of walking tours with Han Tang Tours via Viator. We liked the idea that we could make our own itinerary, see what was important to us, and have a local guide to help us around. After making the booking with Viator we were given the name of the local tour agency, Han Tang Tours, and asked... More

We joined the "Best of Shanghai One Day Tour" and we just got back to the hotel about 30 minutes ago. Overall, the tour was okay EXCEPT for the horrible, rushing, rude and crazy driver we had. We do not his name, as the guide did not introduce us to him like some other tours we had joined before. The... More

What I liked best about this tour company is that the groups are small. Unlike many other tour groups, we did not have to be herded all into a big bus and then follow the leader with one of those tacky flags. There were only five of us in the tour group, and the van was very nice and comfortable.... More
