Very poor experience , some shoppers hassle in a nice way , some very rude , all overpriced , i don”t recommend wasting your time in there ,yu gardens is better as you find good deals and see real chinese culture !

My family and I spent 2 afternoons in the market, and while it was hot and relentless, we all had a ball. The sales people have unlimited energy to haggle, but if you can hang in there you will get the price you want. Start...More

Massive range of stuff, some really seems very good although probably counterfeit, but well made. Having a Mandarin speaker (nephew) helped a lot. Be totally prepared to walk away. Be polite, the vendors are pushy as it’s their job, but pleasant. Prices very negotiable and...More

Very easy to get to as is underneath the subway station for the Science Museum. Big sprawling market with lots of different goods. But remember nearly all the exact same items are sold in MANY stalls. So you can walk away from bargaining. If you're...More

Prepare to bargain hard for all your copy shopping, polos, handbags, sports tear, toys, luggage, the list goes on. This is the place to have your prescription glasses made and they only take an hour. Bargaining tips: Half the asking price and then halve it...More

I actually preferred the Pearl Market in Beijing. The quality at the APAC market was not great and the people are very pushy however we did get some lovely souvenirs from here. You have to haggle really hard though. This place is not for the...More

If you enjoy shopping this market has just about everything. A lot of the shops have the same items in them or are owned by the same people. Make sure you bargain for what you want, they will often say no to your price but...More

Visited here for the 2nd time.Enormous choice of things to buy. Prescription glasses including sunglasses are a specialty – as good or better than I can buy in Australia in terms of the prescriptions being spot-on. Great for lots of other shopping too.

Great place inside the subway. Can be found at Museum of Technology station. When we entered a ‘scout’ came over and asked what we wanted. These scouts are great and really helpful. They do not require money from you, they get their commission from the...More

Shanghai residents see Pudong’s suburbs as the place
that grown-ups retreat to when they’re ready to settle
down and stop living in the cramped confines of a
refurbished lanehouse. The areas around Century Park
are some of the most desirable as they are in close
proximity to the Metro Lines, granting easy access to
the heart of Puxi. The park itself is a huge draw,
it’s one of Shanghai’s biggest and there are sports

Don’t know how much it cost, but they will try to charge you a high price for it. Bargain the price down to about 30% of the price they’ve asked for.
