We went with a large group of teens and they had a blast haggling for shoes and other labelled clothing however we did have one lady selling flowery bags tell us to get out of her store and not welcome back, she was incredibly rude so...More

It’s totally a visit worth to get your knock off shopping done. Don’t be fooled though, there are some good knock offs, like jerseys, sweaters, shoes or gifts you might wanna buy. However, the prices are ridiculous at the beginning, you must bargain hard, very...More

The mall is totally underground, on the same level of the metro station. Actually, the mall entrance is just few meters from the exit turnstile. We won't miss it. There are two malls: Xin Yang market and APAC head to head. Both sell similar products....More

This market replaces the old market on West Nanjing — everything is fake, no matter how close to the real thing it may resemble. There appears to be a system of runners who scout the shoppers, asking what you are looking for. If you want...More

A guy grabbed my arm as I smiled and walked off because of his ridiculous price and hit me with his calculator on my face! As someone who constantly looks for bargains, I can safely say this place is “rip-off paradise” for these people. The...More

Knowing what we were getting into from past visits, we went early in the day when it was almost empty. We picked up some great athletic wear and a backpack. The best part was giving our teens the practice opportunity to haggle. They earned their...More

This is a huge market similar to the pearl market. Can find gifts, electronics, sports clothes, shoes, there is a suits section, tea, bags, suitcases, toys, chinese clothes, make up, lingerie, scarves etc. Very fun! Do not expect trendy clothes. There is anything but that.

This place is good place to buy 1st copy products at very reasonable rates but you have to be a smart bargainer.

Compared to the market in Guangzhou, this is not really a market at all. The “Top Quality” they have here, even in the super top secret back rooms, is about middle of the road quality. I bought a couple of things for my kids because...More

Shanghai residents see Pudong’s suburbs as the place
that grown-ups retreat to when they’re ready to settle
down and stop living in the cramped confines of a
refurbished lanehouse. The areas around Century Park
are some of the most desirable as they are in close
proximity to the Metro Lines, granting easy access to
the heart of Puxi. The park itself is a huge draw,
it’s one of Shanghai’s biggest and there are sports

Cannot use foreign currency in the markets. They only use CNY. If you even find someone willing to accept foreign currency, you will not receive a fair exchange. Best to find a currency exchange kiosk - or exchange at... More
