The Bar Rouge is located at The Bund and offers within an open roof top bar an amazing view towards Pudong with Shanghai Tower. The Location is great, the staff offers very nice drinks. The bar charges an entrance fee and is very crowded with tourists. However, definitely a place that should be visited once!

No.18 on the Bund - Make sure you go up for a drink. Amazing vista of the financial side of the Bund. Drinks not cheap approx $12AUD for a beer but you are paying for the view

I've been there in a tuesday night, the bar is located in a roof top. Full of young people, most expats living in the area with good cocktails and nice music.

Love this place. Drinks are overpriced, it's noisy , cramped and crazy. We booked a booth for 6000y for 8 of us, overlooking the city . The price is only minimum spend and booth costs nothing, took us about 3 hours to drink it . Highly recommend this if you have enough people, service was good but drinks expensive. Good... More

Bar Rouge is one of the best night clubs in Shanghai. Perfect location having the most beautiful view of Bund. Amazing crowd, mesmerising atmosphere with scintillating music and great cocktails. Drinks are very reasonable. LIT @¥90 each. They had an entry charge of ¥100 per person. Please avoid wearing sports shoes and casual wear like shorts etc.

Full of young people, mostly foreigners, with beautiful look at famous Shanghai skyline. Great music, cocktails, atmosphere that makes you feel like you're in the center of the world.

Staying in The Bund

Neighbourhood Profile
The Bund
While there are certainly many other “bunds” in the world, “the Bund” refers to Shanghai’s famous waterfront. The area’s Gothic, Art Deco and Beaux Arts monoliths were built when it was part of the Shanghai International Settlement run by the British and Americans. The atmosphere of colonial-era luxury has endured over time and is now found in the five-star hotels, luxury brand boutiques and expensive restaurants that can be found within the historic buildings. A cultural center has built up away from the water and some of Shanghai’s best art galleries and museums are housed close to the Bund. Nighttime views of Pudong and the rest of the city also make for a great backdrop at the many rooftop clubs.
