Absolutely spectacular. Enjoyable for the old, the young...everyone. I was skeptical because I usually don't enjoy holiday displays. This was so exceptional that I was mesmerized. Recommend getting there early, buying your ticket and touring the gardens before dark. Then grab a bite in their restaurant (limited food selection, but high quality). Then, head back out into the gardens once... More

This is well worth the fee to get in. The lights around the garden were beautiful. There was a variety of themes like sea creatures, China, Coca Cola bears and candy land. Both adults and children in our group were captivated.

I had a discount ticket that was going to expire the next day, so I walked with my umbrella hoping that it wouldn't rain too much during my visit. I learned they also print the map with descriptions in French after I was handed one and had to go back to the front desk to ask for one that I... More

Air conditioners are old and can't keep up with summer heat. They tried four different rooms and they were all uncomfortable.

We stopped for the afternoon at Bellingrath Gardens and loved the nature trails filled with blooming mums, and hundreds of roses. The workers were setting up thousands of lights for Christmas which should be beautiful. It was a wonderful afternoon and well worth the price. We plan on visiting each year.

A perfect stop for anyone that likes any type of garden, horticulture, or historic homes. This includes formal rose, bayou, and Asian. The story of the gardens was very interesting.

The house is basically left as it was when the owner passed away. The 30 minute tour allows you to view the living area, dining room, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, butler pantry filled with sterling silver, and more. It is a lovely home packed full of Royal Doulton figurines, Victorian furniture, etc. The gardens are lovely even in October. There is... More

Only visited the gardens. Rose garden was in bloom and is outstanding. Very relaxing stroll through the gardens. Workers very friendly and helpful. Views are beautiful. If in the area the place is worth the stop. Nice gift shop. River front area was very nicely landscaped and offered an outstanding view. Again a great place to visit. Good place for... More

We visited at a time when the staff was preparing for the upcoming holiday seasons (Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas) Not crowded at all and the grounds were very neat and serene. Staff was very friendly and cordial. The last time I visited was 70 + years ago when I was a youngster. The history of the estate was very interesting.... More
