I'm not a sports fan, but I found the old collection of memorabilia showing the historical evolution of the team dating back to the late 1800's to be very interesting. Highly recommended for football fans and anyone else interested in looking at stuff in museum displays.

The museum is next to the Hotel Capstone. We had extra time while daughter was in class. So glad we decided to explore. The museum had a lot of Alabama football information and memorabilia. It was interesting to see how the university got the mascot and some of the traditions. Very cool.

Not much to say...it's what you think it should be! If you're a fan of UA and don't get to T-town often, this is a must do. My favorite items are Saban's Gatorade soaked shirt from the '09 BCSC game, Bear Bryant's office and the film showing on the TV. If you're a visiting fan of another team, the museum... More

Decided to take TA advice and check out this museum. Cost us seniors only $1 each. Very well done exhibits about the beginnings of football at Alabama though present day. We are from SC but could still appreciate the history and tradition of this award-winning program. Really loved seeing trophies from Bowl Games and National Championships. Took less than hour... Learning more about Bear Bryant and Alabama Football was great. Seeing all of the memorabilia was wonderful. Seeing some of the Football Legends (Coaches and Players) was a treat. It is a privilege to have such a Museum in Tuscaloosa.

If you have a free hour or so, this is a great museum! It's really a museum for ALL of Alabama football, not just the Bear Bryant era. It also only cost $2!
