With an outside concert venue, weather is always a big factor. The night we were there was temperate and clear, so of course that made our experience much better than had it been otherwise! Additionally, being there to see performers who are conscientious of your...More

Usually love the amp but is suffering from blah management. Very long lines at understaffed concession stands. Long lines to get in.Practically no parking. Same fireworks and same music for several 4ths! They need to work at being more consumer friendly.

Went there to see the Beach Boys. Although it wasn't on the beach, it was still a very good night out. The acoustics and lighting are extremely good there. It is also a safe environment.

Attended a Kenny Chesney concert at the Amphitheater and although this venue isn't the bigger that I've visited, it is definitely the best. The City of Tuscaloosa allows free parking their downtown parking deck, with free shuttle service to take you from door to door....More

We had a great time at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater! Ladies make sure to check out their clear purse or tote policy. If you plan on having an adult drink, make sure to take your ID because they have a very strict everyone carded policy. It...More

We have been to several concerts at the Amp. Very comfortable seating, plenty of room. Acoustics are great and the location on the banks of the Black Warrior River is very scenic. Concession prices are high, but that would be OK if the service was...More

The venue is very clean. Seats are comfortable. Seemed very organized. I did notice that the drink prices were exorbitant. I understand the beer prices I guess, but $4 for a bottled water? Also, parking was free, it was pure chaos trying to get out...More

Our family attended the Rod Stewart/Cyndi Lauper concert at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater. We thought that it was a great venue. Our only criticism would be that they need more security near the stage. Several times, people who had tickets further back came and stood in...More

First time to the Ampitheater. Walked from downtown Tuscaloosa to the concert. A cool short walk, transportation was provided for those who needed it. The developer of the Ampitheater did an excellent job of designing the facility. The rows of chairs were double spaced, wide...More

Plenty of free parking in and around venue, however it can fill up fast. Up hill from venue and in grassy area under bridge.

Depends on the artists' show set ups! There are sometimes full seated shows and sometimes standing pit areas! You can usually predict standing if the pit area is labeled GA for general admission.
