Saw the Avett Brothers perform here. The place is awesome! Not a bad seat in the place and the sound is great. Great location. We were able to park in the Intermodal deck about a mile away and rode the shuttle both ways for free....More

The Tuscaloosa Amplitheater draws good artists. The acoustics are very good. It is outside seating so bring a rain slicker with a hood if there is a chance of rain. Lightening with rain will delay, postpone, or cancel the event. Seating is very good and...More

Great running or walking path! Blooming wisteria all along the trail in early April. A bit crowded on Sunday afternoon but walkers graciously give joggers plenty of space. Dogs allowed. About 5 miles round trip from Amphitheater to end of paved trail. A few stairsteps...More

Been here twice and no matter where you sit the view is good. Concessions are pricey but that's normal. Restrooms exceptionally clean.

Great location for Tuscaloosa. Close to other attractions, food, etc. Have been to many concerts since being built.

I've only been to the Amp a few times, some for the free fireworks/Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra concert for July 4, and some for shows I've paid money to see. In each case, though, I've been impressed with the quality of the facility. My most recent...More

Security was easy. Parking was a bit far with sold out show. Beautiful venue. Not enough hotels in the immediate erea currently. Downtown area was a plus. Great lot under overpass. Nice. Had a killer time here. Phantastic.

The Amp is a gem for Tuscaloosa. It is large enough to attract bigger name artists but not so large that there are any bad seats. It is as good or better than any outdoor venue in the country. Parking is at a premium but...More

Plenty of free parking in and around venue, however it can fill up fast. Up hill from venue and in grassy area under bridge.

Depends on the artists' show set ups! There are sometimes full seated shows and sometimes standing pit areas! You can usually predict standing if the pit area is labeled GA for general admission.
