The museum is part of the Tuskegee Institute National Historic Site, but is closed for renovations. The Oaks Mansion, Booker T. Washington's house, is open.

Despite there being no such notice on the website, this museum was closed for renovations. Very disappointing to travel here and be unable to visit.

If you want to learn about George Washington Carver, this is the place to go. You can see things he worked with, hear him give a lecture, and see artifacts from his life.
