The family owned and operated natural hot springs, which allow only a limited number of guests each day, provide a private, relaxing oasis during your vacation. There are five pools, one with a cascading waterfall, which reach up to 108 degrees Fahrenheit. There is no better way to unwind after a long day than by visiting the hot springs and treating your body to its naturally replenishing effects. When taking a break from the soothing hot springs, you can dine in the authentic, home-style Costa Rican restaurant.

Recommend their Hot Springs anytime. The place is nice, clean and well-kept. Different temperatures in different pools. Had fun!

the water was nice but there were too many people there. they have people come in two groups, the morning or at 5pm. When we arrived at 5pm, a bus load of tourist just arrived. needless to say, that doesn't make for a relaxing experience....More

An interesting excursion which included an hour long soak plus food. All extras like towels supplied. We did this in the early evening which made it even more interesting because of the lack of ambient light. Food was typical tourist fare but acceptable none the...More

The grounds and hot spring area was really gorgeous. The place really seemed to cater towards adults more, which we appreciated. The hot springs were not over the top and seemed to fit in great with the nature. The bar had some good drinks and...More

We were lucky enough to have this place almost to ourselves, we went at 4:30, so it was really peaceful and relaxing. Some of the pools were surprisingly hot and not great if you've got any sun burn! A bit of calm after some of...More

There are many hot springs between La Fortuna and Arenal and I don't know how this compares to the others, but the grounds were beautifully landscaped with lush jungle vegetation. While we relaxed in the hot water we could observe several species of bird and...More

This wasn't quite what I was hoping for. The water was clean and good temperature, but too crowded for my liking. The two hottest pools is where we wanted to be, but expect to sit to your new best buddy = not romantic or cozy....More

Food was delicious and plentiful. There were options for very hot to cold water pools. Free lockers and clean bathrooms. Very nice place. Would highly recommend for a relaxing activity that can be done in 3 hours.

Bought evening passes and headed here from the Arenal Observatory Lodge which took about 1/2 hr. It’s located directly across from Baldi Hot Springs, which has a lot of big tour buses parked outside! By comparison Ecotermales is low-key, secluded, just gorgeous. There are a...More

Should be fine. 'Cause of the ambience though, best if they're not the running around loud type.
