Beautiful and relaxing!

I went on a weekday morning and practically had the place to myself until almost noon. Beautiful spot for relaxing. Definitely something to enjoy while you are in the area!

We enjoyed our time here relaxing in the very, warm thermal waters that are heated by the volcano. The whole experience was wonderful and relaxing and we would go again in a heartbeat. The Sunday that we were here was very quiet and wasn't crowded. In fact, we came here specifically because we were told it was not the "party"... More

We visited this place on recommendation from a management company in La Fortuna. They said this place was an older quieter crowd with a delicious meal. It was more expensive but worth it. We got to the location around 10am and ate at 1pm. We left around 3:30. Beautiful grounds and the water was magnificent. 6 pools ranging from 104... More

We had a few hours to spend in La Fortuna before going back to our resort and decided that we would stop in at Ecotermales Fortuna. We arrived on a Tuesday 4/25/17 at 6:00 pm, and realized that A: it would be dark B: they closed at 9:30-10 pm. What we didn't realize is that we basically had the whole... More

I went here with my class and this was such a fun and amazing way to spend our evening. I would highly suggest anyone go here! Wish I would have brought some water! Other than that it was perfect.

It was a great place to relax. Even though the workers kept getting annoyed when I asked if certain ingredients were in the food. But other than that, it was a gorgeous spot.

We spent on evening at Ecotermales to relax in the pools and to eat in the restaurant. The setting is out of a movie. Pools in an exotic rain forest setting are at varying temperatures for you to drift back and forth. Towels and lockers are provided. Dinner was a buffet with a wide variety of meats, vegetables, sides and... More

Beautiful, relaxing, modern, clean and well-kept facilities with great amenities. The many different pools offered varying levels of water temperatures and features. The on-site restaurant served a delicious dinner buffet with a variety of local foods, fruits, drinks, and desserts. We wished we could have stayed longer!

This is a lovely hot springs resort area. The staff is bilingual and extremely attentive & helpful with a real desire to make your visit as pleasant as possible. The pools range from cooler to quite hot and the staff advised us to start from coolest to hottest which is the correct nighttime order. It can become somewhat crowded with... More
