The family owned and operated natural hot springs, which allow only a limited number of guests each day, provide a private, relaxing oasis during your vacation. There are five pools, one with a cascading waterfall, which reach up to 108 degrees Fahrenheit. There is no better way to unwind after a long day than by visiting the hot springs and treating your body to its naturally replenishing effects. When taking a break from the soothing hot springs, you can dine in the authentic, home-style Costa Rican restaurant.

My wife and I visited here after a day of exploring Arenal. If there's a better way to relax after a day of hiking hills and rain forests, I don't know what it is. Drinks are moderately priced, and the buffet is nice. The best...More

This quiet, peaceful and rejuvenating hotspring has been my favorite for many years. It is not a place for being entertained, not a place for showy or big experiences - it is a quiet, beautiful place to just "be." i love the pool with the...More

We went in the afternoon, during the day is much quieter, there were no more than 10 people there. It's a good rainy day activity as I would imagine the pools would seem too hot on a sunny day. The pools are in a very...More

We enjoyed this hot spring spa, arranged through Anywhere Costa Rica, after a long day of volcano climbing. It was lovely, soothing and luxurious. They also served fantastic tropical drinks - perfect way to end a perfect day!

We wanted to visit a hot water spring whilst in the area but were somewhat put off by the high price to visit the tabacon springs (over $70 pp l believe). The hotel recommended this one as being smaller, cheaper, and more suitable for couples....More

Really liked that there weren't too many people in the pools when we decided to go early in the evening. The benches on the sides of the pools are convenient for just sitting and enjoying the warmth. Dinner was better than average buffet style. The...More

My friend and I went in the evening and it was quite busy but there were some kids as well. I think it is fine, but I would say that it is likely much much busier in the evening from what I hear. Hope that helps.

They are allowed but like I said in my review, it's a place for adults. There are plenty of spots to check out. Some cater to a family atmosphere. This spot is just pools and a bar. Don't let the little one screw up someone... More
