Beautiful place to stay. Amazing landscaping and plenty of pools/hot springs to chill out while you relax. The breakfast is wonderful and alters very little. We stayed for a week and it was a great place to fill up before the days adventures begin. The staff, in our case, was VERY helpful in each and every instance. It is hilly,... More

While renting a house in La Fortuna, it was suggested to us to get a day pass to Los Lagos. We went for a wonderful horseback ride in the morning. Our guide Coqui (not sure if that is the correct spelling) was great and answered all of our questions and made sure that we all had appropriate horses. The resort... More

A wonderful hotel with great value. The hot pools were clean, large, and the swim up bar was fantastic. the kids (and we) loved the slides as well. Our room was large and clean. The on site restaurant was surprisingly good, we had breakfast and dinner there and the food was excellent.

My kids loved this hotel! They loved the waterslides (which by the way are fast!) and the hot springs. Room was big by hotel standards and close to the pool, restaurant and reception which we liked. Don't miss the observation deck 2km down the road. Very steep road, needed a 4WD, but the view of Arenal is awesome. The hotel... More

Great hot springs for a family including young kids! We went in the morning: spent time in the pools (some at a good temperature for kids); checked out the butterfly garden; went to the buffet and left again. Parking was close. There were lockers (we brought our own lock - not sure if they provide one). The buffet wasn't huge,... More

When we arrived, we thought of this as a hotel; when we left, it felt like a resort. wonderful view of Arenal volcano in the mornings, lots of birds, quiet well appointed rooms, nice variety of swimming pools with hot and temperate water, a miniature zoo. The staff was cordial and Alex, a waiter we had on several occasions during our... More

Spent an afternoon at Los Lagos. Should have spent the whole day. As well as a great selection of landscaped hot and cold water pools, spas and water slides the site includes a butterfly enclosure and crocodiles. Lunch in the restaurant was great. A day pass will cost you $15 US. A taxi one way to/from La Fortuna costs around... More

Lots of slides and pools of different temperatures. If you do the zip-lining tour, access to the pools is included. Fun way to spend an afternoon.
