Fun family friendly guided horse tour

The horse tour was great. We have two children 7 and 9 that were able to enjoy the tour. It usually runs two hours but we cut it down to one for the sake of time and kids. We got an excellent view of the volcano as well as some local fruit trees. We left with a stalk of sugar... More

We booked a 2 hour horseback ride and that was probably about 1.5 hours too long. Our guide was Diego and it was just my girlfriend and I on the tour. We figured this would make the tour even better because we would get more personalized attention. This was not the case in the slightest. First off, I had never... More

Our two families booked a horseback ride to the La Fortuna waterfall. The guides were super great and helpful. Speaking Spanish is not a must, but if you can speak Spanish, you will get a much better experience because the guides open up and tell you much more in their native tongue than they can express in a second language... Beautiful ride through fields and rain forests. My guide was Diego. He was humorous, informative and fun! I got to go by myself, so had special attention. I would go again, but next time I will ride faster.

Allan Campos was our guide. He was great. Good conversationalist, knowledgable about the plants and animals we observed. He was a very good rider and very patient and reassuring for a family that is not good riders (I am mediocre at best and the rest of my family, including kids 7&9 had never been). Pleasant way to enjoy the natural... More

We had Allan as our guide and he was great! The trail had a little of everything( volcano, jungle, ag etc) the pace was perfect. My boyfriend who has only ridden once before was able to handle it as well so any level of experience is welcome. We got to see some beautiful birds including the hanging nests and a snake... More

We had a very early ride and enjoyed it a lot. Their property has several types of tracks and on different height levels as well that made the tour pretty diverse. We forgot the name (see picture) of our guide but he was pretty amazing, we had fun and also even a bit of philosophy during that rainy ride, thx... More

My sister and I visited the stables a couple of months ago. There was some sort of miscommunication as they were late to pick us up but when we got there it was quickly forgotten. We had two very nice horses, Paloma and Muneca. They were very suitable for each of us. Our guide was super flexible with our level... More
