Our family enjoyed some downtime in the hot springs very much after hiking around La Fortuna. We opted to include dinner and it was delicious. Regarding dinner... we had to let them know once we checked in what time we'd want to eat, and then had to get dressed to enter the restaurant. If you opt for dinner also, may... More

My husband and I joined fellow travelers on a two hour soak followed by buffet dinner at these springs. The springs are well designed and are arranged to go from very hot, to hot, to warm, to a cold plunge. Lots of nooks and crannies to get lost in a crowd as the place gets very busy. As we sipped... I went here with my host family while in Costa Rica and it was absolutely amazing. It's like swimming in a little private oasis in the jungle. The water is incredible, the views breathtaking, and you can see a ton of wildlife, with the coatis running around and the birds overhead. An amazing experience for the whole family, just note... It was nice soaking in the hot springs and drinking from the bar. The food was good and service was on top of it.

Unbelievable how it is natural and so nice at the same time. Had a great time there with my friends (tour group), and the restaurant food was amazing. I could have stayed in those hot springs for a whole day if I could. Probably the most relaxing place I have been too.

We visited these springs with our tour group. What a relaxing evening we had! There are many different pools and waterfalls to enjoy. Be sure to eat in the restaurant. The buffet was great!

Time just seems to melt away at Eco Termales Hot Springs! We spent a solid 5 hours relaxing in the various pools and waterfalls yet it felt like only an hour. The walkways to the pools are surrounded by greenery and give the grounds a secluded rainforest feel. The pools are fed from a natural spring and are drained, cleaned... More

I did a ton of research on this and tried to find a hot springs that didn't cost $100 knowing we were traveling through and only wanted to spend a few hours there after hiking. This was perfect. We were maybe one of ten people there and had the place to ourselves. It's the hidden gem for sure.

The best hot spring around. Lush, beautifully designed grounds. Stone work, natural facade. Friendly staff, immaculate changing areas. We paid for the dinner buffet and so glad we did. The food was fresh, high-quality, Costa Rican dishes. Waiters bring drinks to you while you're swimming. Beautiful landscaping.

I've been to all the hot springs in Fortuna...this place is my favorite. Very lush setting unlike Baldy which is loud and concrete everywhere....no thanks. Here there is forest all around and the place is built on the actual hot spring river, not artificial pools. It's a little on the small side but it never bothered me, as they limit... More
