When we planned our trip to Costa Rica, surfing was at the top of our list of things to do. Rich and Sigrid were recommended by a friend and they were awesome! I had never surfed before and after a quick lesson on the beach from Angelo I got up on my first wave! We had such a great time... More

I really cannot recommend this company enough. It was a spur of the decision and I was really shocked they could even accommodate us. My husband was VERY reluctant and really accompanied me under protest. I called at 9:30 am asking if there was any possibility for two adults sometime today. The owner checked the tide charts and made it... More

Rich, Sigrid, and Koki really have something special here. They were recommended by several people I talked to, and now I know why. What a fantastic experience! After not having surfed in 20+ years, they got me catching waves, standing up, and riding them in within the first hour in the water, unbelievable! Everyone in the group stood up, even those... More

We had never surfed before, and Richard, Angelo and Sigrid made the entire trip an awesome experience. Angelo and Richard were fantastic teachers, guides and assistants. Sigrid made the logistics easy. Best of all, the surfing was incredible. I've never had such a feeling before. I recommend these people, and the whole Latitude Surf Experience to anyone visiting Guanacaste! Thank... More

The main reason for our trip to Costa Rica was to try surfing. My husband and I had a blast. Even though the salt water became to much for us, it inspired us to seek out more water adventures back in Canada. I would definitely recommend surfing with this company.

I need to start by saying this is a year late because—thanks to Point Break—we got engaged while on our vacation in Costa Rica and have been planning a wedding ever since we returned. As you can imagine, planning an engagement can be stressful, particularly when planning to do so abroad. I reached out to Point Break before our trip... More

I did not take a lesson here because I have an instructor in Tamarindo that is my friend but I have to say thank you to the guy from Point Break that saw my friend and I struggling with our huge beginner boards last week and went out of his way to help! It shows me the quality of the... More

My group consisted of 11 people aged from 9 to 42. The staff here accommodated everyone's different skill levels and ages. We were given rash guards before heading out to the beach. I would recommend wearing flip flops or some form of shoes as the sand can be very hot. After carrying out surfboards down to the beach we were... More

Eight of us, ages 8-42 (first time surfers) were very excited to book with Point Break Surf School based on the excellent reviews. They were prompt responding to email requests with the exception of a mix-up regarding shared transportation from our hotel. We were asked if we minded sharing transportation with 2 other individuals but later Point Break wrote back... More
