I did my open water course here. I gotta say, it's a life changing experience. Mauricio is such a great instructor. If you want to dive in Costa Rica this is the place to go to

It is on the chilly side for a "tropical" area. I wore a 3 mm wetsuit, without a hood or gloves, and was comfortable for my 60-minutes in the water.

Yes. The dive masters can be found at the resort's activity desk. The actual "aquacenter" is only a few short blocks away.
