Rick was super helpful and made everything easy. We scheduled a half day for 7. We met on the beach and the crew was nice enough to wait for my friends who had not eaten to grab a bite before we left. We took off and boarded a very nice boat. There were 7 of us and 3 crew, and... More

Captain Rick and his mates were the nicest people to spend the day with! My husband, daughter, and I had an amazing day on the Rhino Charger. My daughter caught a beautiful Sailfish and they were all so helpful and patient with her and then my husband caught a tuna mackerel at the end of the day. The Captain really... More

Captain Rick and his crew were some of the kindest people I have ever met. You will not be disappointed on this trip. They went above and beyond to make sure that my family and I were comfortable throughout the entire day. We had snacks throughout the day, lunch provided, any kind of beverage really you would want (coke, sprite,... More

After much research of the sport fishers in Tamarindo I came to conclude that Rhino Charger was the boat for us. Where do I start! Capt. Rick, owner, was great from first call and emails! Our Captain for the day, Captain Michael, was phenomenal and had a vast knowledge of the area and fishing! Victor, our mate, helped my wife... More

My husband and I had an AWESOME day out on Rhino Charger!!!! Captain and mates are world class....we got in two sails before mid morning. We were both wanting dinner to take back to shore so we asked if we could get a few yellowfin and had two in the boat after lunch. Great day and looking forward to fishing... More

Great crew, top notch service. My buddy, his fiancé and myself took a full day trip which involved watching the Dolphins (mammals) breach the water by the hundreds all day. We trolled around them looking for tuna (0/2) had a couple of good strikes but both fish lived to see another day. Out of nowhere a blue marlin that went... More

I guess that's why they call it fishing and not catching. Unfortunately Costa Rica was not good to us for the fishing. Our captain, I believe did everything he could to put us on some fish but it just wasn't our day. Captain Rick unfortunately had to get back to the states for personal matters but he left us in... I just returned from a fishing trip with Captain Rick Bergstresser. One Sailfish, two tunas and a Marlin made for a great day! Four years ago, my friend, another physician from Miami went out with Rick and caught a 250lb Marlin. My friend boated a Sailfish weighing over 150lbs. also, some yellow fin tuna. On both trips the fresh tuna... More

I Went out with Captain Rick on 6/17/2016. His boat was first rate. Both the upstairs Captains station as well as the main deck were large, roomy and well organized for the most important activity. FISHING! Rick was both personable and mannerable with me, and seemed to have a great admiration among the other Captains and fishermen in town (we... More
