There were so many people trying to sell whistles. All over the place. It was a nice beach but this was really annoying. Also there were some shady characters at the entrance. Overall a pretty fun beach however

The beach and waves were amazing. This place has the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. The only negative is the number "vendors" on the beach daily. They do not harass you, but there is constantly asking you to purchase things. I haven't found...More
Amazingly laid back beach, safe surf conditions for all skill levels of swimming and surfing. Wonderful food service all down the beach. Vendors and local ticos ready to serve and show you the sights.
Great place to watch surfing or take lessons as the waves are perfect and not too big. You can rent chairs and umbrellas. Locals come along selling beer and coconut water. They also sell lots of other things and it can become annoying at times
Wonderful place - very chilled and beautiful. Locals all very friendly. Good accommodation and restaurants for all budgets. We taught our young kids to surf at this beach as waves are good but not too crazy.
