We visited the Veragua Rainforest as an excursion from our cruise and we are so happy we did. It was very educational and the guide on the tour bus, Filander, was fantastic. We had the opportunity to get off the bus to take photos of some sloths and once at the Rainforest, we could learn about the butterflies, insects and... More

We visited this wonderful place as an excursion when we did a cruise to Central America. It was a fantastic experience and we were so glad we went. Our guide Hurben was really knowledgeable and passionate about everything he was describing to us and we came from this trip knowing a lot more about the importance of saving rainforests than... My husband and I did this tour of the Veragua Rainforest Park as part of a cruise ship tour excursion choice. It was amazing! We entered a wonderful facility with boardwalks and displays of many types of rainforest creatures. We learned so much from our tour guide who was very knowledgable and clear with his explanations. There is a wonderful gift... More

We had a wonderful, informative visit to the rainforest. Our guide was absolutely amazing. The rainforest tram was spellbinding. Rhodes's a very peaceful fulfilling day. We definitely recommend a visit.

It was wonderful. Staff was so informative and fun. The guide on the bus was named Boa and he was excellent. He made the bus ride to and from the zip lining fun. I would do this again in a heartbeat.

The trip to the rainforest is an adventure within itself. Dirt roads, dogs sleeping in the middle of the road, beautiful views everywhere. However the rainforest tour is a bit of a disappointment. Their main thrust is the propagation of a green tree frog. There are so many visitors that animal sightings are scarce. There are 375 steps to get... More

We took a combined zip lining and rainforest study center tour that we booked on our cruise ship. Overall the hour long bus ride, walk through the study center, aerial tram down into the forest, walk to a beautiful waterfall and then traversing 11 zip lines was great! Every aspect was narrated by a guide including the bus ride. The... More

We went on the Celebrity Cruise excursion Veragua rainforest and aerial tram. For $150 usd this was not worth the price. Start off with an hour or so bus ride over unmaintained roads. If you don't have neck, back, or loose teeth this bus ride will give them to you. Finally reaching Veragua Park, we unloaded bus and assigned a... More

We had a one hour trip to get there. The staff were very friendly and were available for all questions. The scientific talk was good and the trip in gondola interesting. But then everything ended, we did not visit other areas of the park to see collections of butterflies, serpentarium, etc. The place to eat something was closed. Only the... More

We did not see much wild life at the rain forest. Saw a waterfall that was not anymore impressive than other waterfalls in the US. Butterfly garden like any other garden. Frogs and reptiles that can be viewed in a zoo. Thought it was very expensive for what we saw.
