This is a great center that provides important and lifesaving services for orphaned and injured animals. I love that their goal is to rehabilitate the animals and then release them back into the wild. The tour guide we had during our visit was very knowledgeable...More

Wow. I pre-booked a private tour (with 2 kids, 6 and 10) which was amazing. We had up-close access, all around the center. No touching the animals, but amazing proximity (and I'm talking baby sloths and monkeys. The cute quotient was astronomical). All told the...More

Unfortunately this was not the experience we we're looking for. Our guid spent more time on the reptiles and spiders than the cute baby monkeys and sloths. We didn't get to hold any of the animals - which was devastating :( . The baby sloths...More

This was a great experience. The environment was very open, save for the snake and bird enclosures but with good reason. I went in expecting to see sloths, but wasn't expecting them to be right in the open! The deer also had a wide range,...More

Very authentic animal Care. Although fees are quite high it seems to be very honest work for the wild life. Its like a zoo but one gets closer to the animals. We were there I'm off season so the group was 8 person only. it...More

Yes, plenty of space to park.. watch out for howler monkeys on the trees. They like to wee on people standing under trees. :)

It kind of depends how mobile the wheelchair is. Most of the tour route is either cement or hard packed earth so it would be easy to get around. A couple of places are gravel and most wheelchairs are fine. There is only one... More

Hello, what is the difference between the public tour and private tour? Are there any suggestions on which one to do?

We did the public tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had plenty of time to see the animals and ask questions. I'm not sure how different the private tour is since we didn't take it, but we did enjoy the public one.
