We were 3 young travelers, we arrived on the 19 on november from this year. Roberto greet us with a great smile, showed us the way to our hostel, the casona, which is really nice, and then he explained us what there was to do in Tortuguero. We decided to do the canoe tour on the following morning. We enjoyed... More

I was surprised there wasn't more to do in Tortuguero. In fact the guide meeting my boat said he didn't know what I was going to do for the four days I had planned to stay. But Roberto efficiently arranged a canoe tour and a turtle tour. He was very helpful and accommodating.

Had a good time on the turtletour and the canotour. Roberto is a really passionate guy and knows a lot about nature. During the turtletour at night, he showed us not only turtles but also tarantulas, snakes and other nice wildlife in the dark. His English and knowledge are fine! Go book your tour here. Thanks roberto. Greetings from the... More

Roberto Rankin was the best tour guide I have ever had. He organised everything for me from the tours of the jungle to getting the boat off of the island to Moin. He made sure everyone knew exactly where they should be and when. Not only was he incredibly organised but his knowledge of the whole Tortuguero area was unbeatable,... More

Roberto was a very professional guide, he gave us lots of information about the wildlife. On top he organized our tour back to san jose, which was the fastest way to go.

at first they seems like nice people with all the nice talk. But when we booked a boattrip from Tortuguero to Moan it went wrong. Owen told us we had to be at the dock 10.45am. He wrote it down on the ticket as well. So 10.30am we were at the dock waiting for the boat. The one that didnt... More

We had been on a two day trip September 2013 to Tortuguero. Arriving at La Pavona, a guy called Roberto get in contact with us while waiting for the next boat to Tortuguero. He said that he can offer some tours and, if we want he can give us further information, with not being obligatory to book. He was quite... More

Roberto and Feliciano were very hard working, entertaining and professional tour guides. They gave a very local feel to all three aspects: turtles, canoe and walking tour. Also fantastic value for money

We had booked a room at El Icaco the morning we planned to drive to La Fortuna, then take the public boat taxi to Tortuguero. We booked a package that included boat fare and a morning canoe tour to see wildlife. We were surprised when we arrived at La Fortuna to have a guide, Roberto, waiting for us. We had... More
